Start with the work your business needs
List the work in a normal property: exposure blending, white balance, color correction, vertical alignment, window enhancement and natural sharpening. Separate those repeatable edits from specialist requests such as object removal, virtual staging or day-to-dusk conversion. This makes quotes easier to compare.
Evaluate consistency, not one impressive image
A useful test includes several rooms from one property, an exterior, mixed lighting and a difficult frame. Review room-to-room brightness and color, vertical lines, window masks, halos and whether materials remain believable at full resolution. Share reference images so the editor has a specific visual target.
Confirm turnaround and revisions
Ask what the quoted turnaround includes, how complex requests affect delivery and how revisions are handled. Confirm formats, color space, naming and upload method. IFOTO begins new relationships with up to five test images so photographers can assess the complete finish and workflow before increasing volume.
