Real estate photo editing is often priced per image, but the rate depends on the work included. Standard exposure, color, vertical and window corrections require a different workflow from object removal, day-to-dusk conversion, virtual staging, floor plans or video.
Build a budget from actual production
Start with the average images per property and monthly property count. Separate standard images from specialist requests, then allow for urgent work or client revisions. Ask providers what is included and use the same representative sample files when comparing quotes.
Compare workflow value, not price alone
Outsourcing should return time for shooting, sales and client service. Inconsistent color, missed instructions, delays and repeated revisions all create operating cost.
