Compose for clarity and believable space
Keep vertical lines straight, avoid placing important furniture at distorted frame edges and use a camera height appropriate to each room. Preserve enough exposure information for windows and mixed lighting. Consistent brackets, white balance and filenames make editing more predictable.
Refine without misrepresenting
Editing can balance exposure, correct color, align perspective and remove temporary distractions, but permanent materials and features should remain credible.
